We’re calling it Kindred. You know, like kindred spirits or whatever.
This is a rare chance to catch all three of our Melbourne-based artists playing intimate sets, accompanied by gorgeous visuals, at a venue you’ve probably not visited before: The Stables, a converted horse stable in North Melbourne’s historic Meat Market arts district.
Following recent support slots with Japanese Wallpaper and Big Scary, and a widely buzzed-about BIGSOUND performance in Brisbane, Braille Face will be showcasing his acclaimed debut album Kōya, which has been getting spins on triple j, 3RRR and BBC 6 Music, and receiving love from The Quietus, Indie Shuffle, Rolling Stone and Elbow’s Guy Garvey. His live show is intimate and refreshing: and he’s cooking up something special for this one.
“Sad banger” specialists Telling – aka vocalist Ben Abraham and producer/label boss Tim Shiel – will deliver a lush set of minimalist electronic pop.
And come early for a debut (!) performance from our latest signing, found-sound sculptor Don.
This is a chance for us to bring our little community together for the first time – in the flesh – and we simply cannot wait. We’re really looking forward to meeting you.
Tickets: $15 available at Eventbrite
