Braille Face’s Malheureux EP comes today as an intended companion to his Lightletting EP which came out only two months ago. It completes the picture, together they provide an overview of what he’s been working towards as a producer and songwriter over the past 18 months or so – and hints at the future directions the project is about to take.
Just like the five tracks on Lightletting, every track on Malheureux is unique and highlights a different aspect of an artist who is increasingly difficult to pin down.
These songs were written across inspirational visits to Tokyo, a writing stint in New York City at the home studio of Spirit Level co-founder Gotye, and Melbourne.
