This cult favourite from 2012 has been reissued and rightfully so. If you want to get in your car and feel like you’re in GTA: Vice City, play this album.
Super-smooth sample based cuts, with plenty of saxophone, soaring lead guitars, acoustic pianos, and those snappy reverb-laden drums you didn’t even notice are on all your favorite 80s jams. The warm hazy tones come together perfectly to make this album a golden listen. It comes off like a Madlib beat-tape of 80s cuts, but this is right out of Melbourne and with the bands vocals and live instruments in the fold to make this album both nostalgic and refreshing.
