Today brings two huge announcements: Donald Hugh’s debut EP Coast will be released on August 25 (pre-orders now available), and his psychedelic new video for “Hymn” is out now.
The video for “Hymn” was created by Benjamin Portas and has already been chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick. The video premiered on Tiny Mixtapes who said “the video gives us a radically computerized, blessed meditation on Oceanian flora and fauna — all high colors and post-clip art zen symbolism — that pairs wonderfully with the music’s mix of deep sea introspection and sea salty splendor”.
