Pete Sagar is back with a new release as Homeshake, and after last years decidedly sensual Midnight Snack LP he’s taken a more relaxed and airy approach this time round.
For “Call Me Up” he conjures classic 1980s R&B drum sounds with his almost-whispered vocals moving in-and-out of falsetto as they glide in unison with blissfully warm synth melodies. This is the perfect song for a morning in the sun, and the full album (via Sinderlyn) will arrive just in time to enjoy it in the Australian summer.
